KARACHI (Web Desk) - Shahid Afridi, the former captain of the Pakistan cricket team, reacted to the worst defeat and poor performance of the Pakistan team in the Super 4 stage of the Asia Cup.
After the humiliating loss against India, Shahid Afridi said in a statement on social media website X (formerly Twitter) that winning and losing are part of the competition, but not fighting for victory is bad. The Indian team showed good performance in every segment of the game against Pakistan.
Winning/losing is part of competing, but not putting up a fight, not showing intent to win is just poor. Exactly what I was referring to in my previous tweet.
